What will you learn?

Evidence-informed Approaches to Education is a course of 30-minute lectures on six vital topics for secondary school teachers, including developing resilience in students, improving academic engagement, how character education can promote wellbeing and what we know about how Generation Z learns. Each talk outlines the key research on a particular topic and offers suggestions on how to implement the ideas in your classroom. They are followed by a series of questions for group CPD discussions or to guide educators’ individual reflection and research. This free course is offered by the Tony Little Centre for Innovation and Research in Learning at Eton College as part of Eton2020: A New Social Vision.

Resilience, Leadership, Character Education and Wellbeing

Course director

Dr Iro Konstantinou is the Head of Research Programmes at the Tony Little Centre for Innovation and Research in Learning at Eton College. She oversees the research projects at the centre, including on resilience, leadership, character education and wellbeing. She teaches research methods to undergraduate students and is currently researching skills development in undergraduate students. She has a PhD in Sociology and is the Editor of the Eton Journal for Innovation and Research in Education.
