I’m not preparing for a formal speech. Is this course still for me?

Of course! Public speaking is a skill you often need during your life as a student, for example when you are presenting to your class or taking part in a seminar. You may also need public speaking skills for some of your extra-curricular or volunteering activities, such as showing people around your school, or to take part in family events such as weddings or other celebrations.

Can everyone become a better public speaker?

Yes. Many people find public speaking difficult because they get anxious and nervous. These emotions affect performance. The good news is that you can overcome these emotions with some easy-to-master techniques and practice.

I’m already a confident public speaker. Will this course help me?

EtonX’s courses are designed for all abilities. If you are already used to public speaking and feel confident in your abilities, we will give you techniques to improve and become even better. You will find working with peers in the online classroom particularly useful.
